Royal Clipper

The 134-metre Royal Clipper has 54-metre-high mast and a sail area of approximately 5,000 square metres. Up to 227 guests one on board enjoy unique sailing cruises and the unique romance of tall ships. Take no expensive clothes on board, because on this sailing cruise ship one swears by casual wear. Neither jacket nor tie are expected in the dining room, where all passengers at a meeting take place. Short-sleeved shirts and pants for the men, shorts and tops for women are during the day and dinner.

The crew on deck consists of genuine seafarers, who grew up with boats and tall ships and of which most would never set foot on a cruise ship setting. As it 1931 was built by E. F. Hutton for his wife, she was the largest, ever constructed private yacht. For 1 million dollars on the Krupp shipyard in Kiel is built, this yacht with a hull made of steel without a doubt extremely impressive. The cuisine is excellent, although the selection is limited. This sailing cruise ship has some beautiful cabins including two luxury suites (both with fireplace and French four-poster bed) from the days when it functioned as a private yacht and a magnificent Interior. The new equipped suites and cabins with their antiques, newer, smaller cabins were added when a German sailor’s Consortium acquired the yacht.
